Baseball America

“You see, you spend a good piece of your life gripping a baseball, and in the end it turns out that it was the other way around all the time.” ~Jim Bouton, Ball Four, 1970

Just like me, America loves baseball. I set out with my friend Ryan on the week America celebrated its independence in order to explore a sport and more importantly the nation who created that sport. Trekking through the Mid-West and into Appalachia, we consumed the sport at almost every professional level. From Low A to the MLB we watched as a nightly 9 inning drama took place in front of our eyes. Infatuated with the sport we love and even more so with the people and country that make it what it is.
